Terms of Use for Pymble Connections
- Introduction
The Pymble Ladies College (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) Pymble Connections platform is an exclusive online platform for Pymble Alumni to forge meaningful personal and professional connections. It is a place for all generations of Pymble Alumni to share ideas, expertise and experience. - Definitions
In these Terms of Use, unless the context otherwise requires:

- Platform means Pymble Connections; an online networking and engagement platform operated by Pymble Ladies' College.
- Modules means distinct programs, features, or activities made available on the Platform in which users may participate.
- Rules of Engagement means the specific terms, guidelines, or protocols that apply to participation in a particular module.
- Personnel means officers, employees, contractors, and authorised agents of Pymble Ladies' College.
- Privacy Policy means the privacy policy of Pymble Ladies' College as updated from time to time, available here.
- Platform means Pymble Connections; an online networking and engagement platform operated by Pymble Ladies' College.
- Rules of Engagement
The Pymble Connections platform comprises multiple distinct modules in which users may elect to participate, either by voluntary engagement or by formal registration. Participation in any module is conditional upon the user’s acceptance of and adherence to the specific Rules of Engagement applicable to that module, in addition to these Terms and Conditions. By participating in a module, the user agrees to be bound by the corresponding Rules of Engagement, which are accessible via the following links:
- Confidentiality, Privacy and Marketing
- Users must maintain the confidentiality of all information disclosed, communicated, or otherwise made available to them by other participants through their involvement on the platform or or participation in Platform modules, where such information is by its nature confidential, sensitive, personal (including, without limitation, contact details), or where the user knows or ought reasonably to know that the information is confidential or sensitive. Users must not disclose, publish, or otherwise communicate any such information to any third party without the prior written consent of the disclosing party, except as required by law.
- We may collect personal information from you in connection with your use of the Platform and your participation in available modules for the purposes of administering the modules and their programs, as well as for conducting related networking events, fundraisers, and associated activities. Such personal information may be disclosed to our personnel, other program participants, and third parties involved in the programs and any related events or activities, to the extent reasonably necessary for those purposes. All personal information collected by us in connection with the programs will be collected, handled, used, stored, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available here.
- You consent to receive marketing, promotional, and fundraising communications from us, our personnel, and organisations that assist us with fundraising activities, including but not limited to the Pymble Foundation, the Pymble Alumni Organisation, and, from time to time, external fundraising organisations.
- Users must maintain the confidentiality of all information disclosed, communicated, or otherwise made available to them by other participants through their involvement on the platform or or participation in Platform modules, where such information is by its nature confidential, sensitive, personal (including, without limitation, contact details), or where the user knows or ought reasonably to know that the information is confidential or sensitive. - Liability and Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Our role is solely to verify that participants are members of the Pymble Ladies' College community, and we accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any actions, advice, representations, or decisions made by participants in connection with the Platform or module programs;
- You will exercise your own discretion, judgement, and caution when considering or implementing any advice, information, or guidance received from other participants in connection with any engagements on this platform and module programs; and
- You release, indemnify, and hold harmless Pymble Ladies' College, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, suits, actions, or proceedings of any kind whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection with your use or participation on the Platfrom or within any module programs, including (without limitation) any reliance upon advice, information, or services provided by other participants.
- Our role is solely to verify that participants are members of the Pymble Ladies' College community, and we accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any actions, advice, representations, or decisions made by participants in connection with the Platform or module programs;
- Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to vary, amend, or replace these Terms of Use at any time at our discretion. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any such amendment constitutes your agreement to be bound by the amended Terms of Use. It is your responsibility to regularly review the Terms of Use to stay informed of any updates. - Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, and any courts competent to hear appeals from those courts, in relation to any proceedings in connection with these Terms of Use or your use of the Platform.
